Joshua Purdy is a dynamic professional with more than a decade of experience in food science and management. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science from Brigham Young University in 2012 and is an expert in solving problems faced by food production companies and management teams.
Committed to continuous learning and professional development, Joshua has furthered his expertise by acquiring certifications in Seafood HACCP, Intentional Adulteration Vulnerability Assessments, and Preventive Controls for Human Food.
Joshua’s career journey reflects his versatility and leadership capabilities across various industries. Upon graduating from BYU, Joshua served as a Production Manager at Tasman Services, LLC, where he played a pivotal role in overseeing refrigeration reskinning operations for WalMart projects and contributed to significant business expansion and the establishment of robust product specifications.
At Boing Trampoline Parks, he planned and oversaw the installation of food service kitchens and implemented food handling protocols and training.
Joshua gained extensive experience in quality assurance as a QA Team Lead at Publix Supermarkets at their meat processing plant. There he ensured compliance with regulatory standards, was a liaison between plant management and USDA, managed quality inspection tasks, and conducted training sessions for plant departments.
